Hallo, we got an invitation to submit talks on the LHCb trigger for
the 8th Pisa Meeting on Advanced Detectors (May 21-27 2000, Isola d'Elba,
Italy, see mail below).
Honestly I do not see any new items which would be suitable for this
conference and have not be published before, but please mail me
any suggestions to the contrary.
Regards, Hans Dijkstra.

Subject: Frontier Detectors for Frontier Physics
Dear Colleagues,
The LHCb speaker's bureau have contacted the organisers of
the 8th Pisa Meeting on Advanced Detectors (May 21-27 2000, Isola d'Elba,
Italy) for talks on our subdetectors and physics programmes.
They have responded, saying they are VERY interested in talks on our muon,
trigger, rich and vertex systems. Hence, we need some (likely short and
snappy) abstracts on these topics.
As is the policy, these detector talks & speakers are the responsibility of
the subdetector system co-ordinators. However, it might be easier if you
send me the abstracts, and I send them off en masse.
If however, this causes you problems then just let me know and I will send
you the address of the person we have been in contact with so you can do it
directly.
As usual, the deadlines are quite tight, so if you could prepare something
in the next couple of days, then I think that would keep the chances high
that we get a good number of talks.
With thanks, and best regards, Andy
